Donkeys' great roles in Morocco
Many people could see this picture as funny, but in reality it's a very ironical picture and it mocks the whole system. In the twenty-first century, we still see these images in Moroccan cities of using donkeys as a transport. We see in this picture a donkey tied to a taxi signboard in a taxi station. As if they want to say "this donkey is our Taxi".
In Moroccan villages, donkey is not just an animal "he" is a life-saver. In many parts of Morocco, people rely on donkeys to fulfill their daily works. Although the huge changes in Moroccan Society, donkeys are still playing an important role in peoples' lives. Moroccan villagers still bring firewood and fodders using donkeys, they don't have other alternative means.
